Clarence Littlefield has over 40 years of extensive experience in the planning, design, and construction
management of municipal/public water and wastewater systems. His experience includes engineering work on numerous
water wells and intake structures, surface water and groundwater treatment plants, ground storage tanks, elevated storage tanks,
standpipes, water distribution systems, and wastewater collection systems for communities throughout Texas.
Additionally, Clarence has had extensive experience in roadway and drainage planning and design projects.
Clarence has also through the years become an expert on finding financing opportunities for his clients,
whether it be through governmental loans and grants or through private financing institutions.
Richard C. "Dick" Collins

Dick Collins has been part of the Southwest Engineers team since 1988.
He has over 30 years' experience with municipal wastewater and water treatment design as well as water supply,
water wells, pumping stations, reservoirs, distribution systems and collection systems.
Dick has also had extensive experience with street and drainage design.
Dick's experience with water/wastewater treatment provides our team with the ability to assist our clients
in some of the most complicated treatment issues in Texas.
James D. "Doug" Tune

Doug Tune joined the Southwest Engineers team in 2002.
With over ten years' experience in municipal water
treatment and wastewater treatment plants, Doug has
developed a deep understanding of the treatment options
available and the process of obtaining state approvals.
Doug has worked on numerous membrane technology
treatment plants, including reverse osmosis treatment
units, as well as some very exciting projects related to
arsenic removal and brackish groundwater desalination.
Neal Ross Goedrich

Neal Goedrich serves as a project engineer for
Southwest Engineers. He has developed a great
understanding of the design of water systems,
including ground storage, elevated storage,
and distribution facilities. Neal is extensive
experience in hydraulic computer modeling of
water distribution systems. He has also completed
numerous engineering reports, feasibility studies
and long range water studies.
Neal additionally has experience in the
structural analysis of highway bridges,
pipe stress analysis of petrochemical
facilities, and surveying.
Eric N. Schulze

Eric Schulze also serves as project engineer.
He has completed or assisted in the design on numerous water distribution, water treatment, and water storage projects.
Additionally he has worked on the design and planning for wastewater collection facilities both gravity and pressure,
wastewater lift stations, and wastewater treatment facilities for municipal/public systems.
Eric also has experience in private development projects including the design of water distribution,
wastewater collection, drainage channel, culverts, storm sewers, and detention ponds.
Stephen Grahmann

Stephen Grahmann has been with Southwest Engineers since 2006.
He has worked extensively on water distribution design projects and drainage analysis as well as community park projects,
wastewater collection, wastewater treatment and water treatment projects.
Stephen's experience in drainage projects includes the analysis of existing and proposed drainage conditions,
open channel flows, culvert sizing and the analysis and design of detention ponds.
Additionally, Stephen has experience in computer hydraulic modeling of water distribution systems
and has worked on discharge permits for wastewater treatment and brine discharge from water treatment.
Jeff Kallus

Jeff Kallus joined our team in June 2008 after completing one year in our Internship Program.
Jeff has worked on a number of interesting projects that have gained him experience in preliminary engineering reports,
federal funding processes, environmental assessments, water distribution design, hydraulic computer modeling
and wastewater discharge permitting.
John F. "Jay" Fox

Jay Fox has served as the Southwest Engineers Regulatory Manager since 2003.
Jay has over 12 years experience with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) as an
Environmental Specialist, focusing primarily on drinking water.
Jay serves our customers as a liaison with the TCEQ as well as working on identifying public
utilities that are in need of professional engineering assistance.
Additionally, Jay has completed a number of Phase 1 Environmental Assessments for Southwest Engineers clients.
