SWE served as a subconsultant for this new water plant facility on 0.34 acres that included a 0.15-MG Spheroid Elevated Storage Tank (EST), a new 0.15-MG welded steel Ground Storage Tank (GST), a high-service pump station, a 16’x16’ electrical and chemical support building, a 150kW Caterpillar generator, and an access drive. The project also included a Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) tie-in, which required a pressure reducing valve and vault and 8’x12’ fiberglass control valve and metering building. The final design complied with all rules and regulations set forth by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Our services included preparation of construction drawings; coordination with the City of Kyle, GBRA, and TCEQ; permitting; plan review; radio path study coordination; FAA coordination for the aeronautical study; paint inspection coordination; bidding phase services; and construction phase services.
